This project is one of the many performed by RQ Construction on various sewage treatment plants at MCB Camp Pendleton. Repairs at STP1 included replacement of the V-notched weirs at existing Primary Clarifier and Secondary Clarifier No.2; removal and replacement of existing sludge in Digester No.2; installation of new recirculation pumps and associated piping, digest gas piping, sump equipment and piping at pump station; installation of new piping into existing Secondary Clarifier No. 1; installation of new cabinets, plumbing, and accessories in bathrooms; and installing new electrical distribution for recirculation pumps. Electrical work included the installation of new MCC buckets, motor power control conductors, disconnects on railing, pump control relay from ultrasonic level control, high-high/low-low float alarm switches, back-up pump control switches, and ultrasonic sensors and cables for recirculation pump control.

The scope of work at STP12 included demolition and replacement of existing sludge beds; removal and replacement of existing Primary/Secondary Clarifier and associated piping; and installing a new transformer and generator. Site work included installing new asphaltic concrete pavement around sludge beds and new Primary/Secondary Clarifier; installation of a new Primary Clarifier influent; trickling filter effluent line; piping to the existing pump station; and installing new secondary sludge and scum valves.

   



RQ received a final “OUTSTANDING” evaluation for this project.
