In the past five years, RQ Construction has completed several projects designed to achieve GBCI LEED Certification and LEED self-certification. Our LEED Process focuses on the end user; our facilities support the occupant’s health, comfort, and productivity. Our Process is backed up with a knowledgeable team of nine in-house LEED Accredited Professionals and over a dozen LEED Green Associates. Recently, several of our projects have been GBCI Certified, including:
- The Command and Control 1st AD Headquarters at Fort Bliss – Achieved LEED Gold Certification
- The Seabee / CEC Museum at Port Hueneme – Achieved LEED Silver Certification
- The Company Operations Facility at Fort Irwin – Achieved LEED Gold Certification
- The Child Development Center at Fort Irwin – Achieved LEED Gold Certification
Additional projects have achieved self-certified status, including the US Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command, West Facilities at Camp Pendleton. Two of the buildings in this complex – the Headquarters Operations Facility and Academic Instruction Facility – were self-certified LEED Gold, and the remaining buildings were Certified-level facilities. The Command and Control 1st AD Headquarters at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas is pending LEED Gold Certification.
