Small Business Subcontracting Program
Strengthening Small Businesses
RQ Construction recognizes the positive role that small businesses play in our growing communities, particularly because we ourselves were once a Small Business. Fortunately, we are now in the position to offer continuous bid opportunities, as well as mentoring services to the following Small Businesses:
- Service Disabled Veteran-Owned
- Veteran-Owned
- Women-Owned
- Small Disadvantaged
- Economically Disadvantaged
- Historically Under Utilized Business Zone
By implementing our Small Business Subcontracting Program we can provide aid and mentoring assistance to our small business subcontractors, as well as ensuring compliance to the Government and the Nation and strengthen the role of small businesses in meeting Federal needs. Association with these businesses has led to various subcontracting opportunities, as well as increasing our customer loyalty.
Incentive
To assist small businesses financially, RQ Construction has created the Early Payment Program to pay monthly draws by the 15th of each month. To qualify for this program, small businesses must have a current company profile submitted onto the www.rqconstruction.com website annually, must be certified on the www.ccr.gov website annually and must have all required paperwork (contract, insurance certificates, releases, certified payroll and bonding, if required) into our Accounting Department before the 15th of each month.
Participation
If you are a small business interested in participating in our Small Business Subcontracting Program then we invite you to register your company with RQ Construction by completing a Small Business Profile. RQ Construction's Small Business Liaison Officer (SBLO) will regularly access this database to identify capable small businesses that meet our needs on current and upcoming projects.
