Dormitory, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ

The primary purpose of the new design-build Dormitory is to improve the quality of life for the Air Force enlisted personnel. This 51,150 square foot dormitory is two stories with two wings, and houses 144 enlisted personnel. It is comprised of 36 suites, which each include four private sleeping and bathroom areas, connected by a shared space with a kitchen and dining area, lounge areas, and laundry facilities. The lobby is comprised of open and private office space, a conference room and kitchen area, and mechanical and electrical rooms. Outdoor amenities include a basketball court and a BBQ areas. This project was the first LEED Gold project at Davis-Monthan AFB.
