This design-build project includes the construction of a consolidated communication and electronics shop building at 43 Area of MCB Camp Pendleton for the 11th Marines. The facility is utilized for up to 3rd echelon services on military vehicles including 7-ton MTLVs and all variants of HMMWVs. It also serves to outfit military vehicles with proper communication and electronic devices including antennas, radios, GPS, radar, and other high-tech equipment. This updated 52,000 square foot building replaced an existing smaller, outdated facility.
