P1049 Power Quality Upgrade / P1297 Wallops Generation and Distribution Resiliency Improvements, Wallops Island, JEB Little Creek-Fort Story, Virginia
The project installed new electrical power backup UPS devices for Buildings V-10, V-20, and V-21 and switchgear and building, P1049. P1297 consists of upgrades to the existing electrical substation in Building V-10, installation of approximately 7,200’ of direct underground power cable (medium voltage) from Building X-141 to the AEGIS site, construction of a 3.25 MW generator, switchgear, and 5,000-gallon fuel tank.
