Snidecor Hall Office Wing Seismic Replacement, University of California, Santa Barbara, CA

The 29,411 SF Snidecor Hall Replacement Building will provide the University of California at Santa Barbara, California with new office space, classrooms and a theater for the performing arts school. The project includes the demolition of a portion of the existing Snidecor Hall Building, which is a cast-in-place concrete and masonry structure. Demolition includes extensive asbestos abatement and removal of structural elements, existing pile foundations and underground utilities. The remaining portion of the existing building was occupied by students and staff during demolition and includes a working theater used by the performing arts school for performances.
