The Sterilization Processing Department provides medical and surgical equipment sterilization services in support of other hospital departments. The renovation is 11,300 SF and transformed the department into an up-to-date facility supported by its design, operation, processes improvement, efficiency and additional new medical equipment. This renovation constitutes a complete reconfiguration of the existing sterilization processing department including the receiving/decontamination, pre-sterile, sterile, offices, and support functions.

The overall project rating was outstanding. The project was managed and executed in a professional manner while minimizing disruption to the Hospital staff and its operations. Having to navigate several design changes and project delays, there was outstanding planning, coordination, flexibility, and management of the project by the Contractor that contributed to the successful completion of the project.
