Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT), Phase III, Fort Irwin, CA

MOUT Phase III at Fort Irwin is a simulated city comprised of 83 buildings. The primary simulated facilities include a Palace, HQ, Barracks, multi-purpose businesses and one and two-story residences, training roads and instrumentation. The buildings are set up to allow for a variety of training scenarios. This training facility provides a realistic training environment for Active Army, National Guard, Army Reserve, and other uniformed service members in the techniques of fighting within towns and cities at the brigade level.
