The Q4/BQ Renovate Building R-61 project includes the complete renovation and upgrade of an existing 6-story bachelors quarters totaling 84,215-SF in order to comply with the Defense Planning Guidance, correct existing deficiencies, and meet current code requirements. Interior room renovations include repairing berthing/living spaces to meet current standards and replacement of living space area including replacement of cabinets, replacing carpet, and refinishing and painting interior walls and ceilings. This project also features complete building HVAC replacement, complete building plumbing system, replacement of elevators, repairs to building electrical system, repairs and renovations to existing administrative offices, lounges, waiting room, bathrooms in the quarter deck, upgrades to all lighting fixtures, and replacement of laundry equipment and reorganization of laundry room for better functionality.
